- Rhetta (my coworker): Yeah? Well I lived in a tipi and I got married in a tipi...in buckskins!
- Customer (smiling): You win. Man, weren't the seventies great?
- Rhetta: From what I remember, yes.

- Yeah, the one we all ignored while we paid attention to pregnant celebrities instead? Those were the days!
In all seriousness though, I predict that learning foreign languags will be de rigeur; people will grow their own food in gardens (possibly out of necessity); and reading books will make a comeback. At least that's what I want for my future. And it won't be bad at all.
