Note to Self

When stressed and worried, it's not enough to stretch and breathe and try to move ch'i in the body.

The emotions and mental state are the source of the imbalance. These worries born of worry need to be addressed at the level of the heart.

So: when worry arises, to cultivate openheartedness, curiousity and surrender. The sense that, if I allow it, the right response will come forward. That our every experience is the ripening and the coalescing of new karma.

So much energy is lost to worry, and so much inner devastation is wreaked--to no benefit--on its account.
