"Entertainment" in French is pronounced "Distraction"
(And "migration" is "mutation.")_
The Charles de Gaulle airport would not be mistaken for Atlanta or Chicago. There are no broad spaces, and the layout is compact to the point of being cramped. There is a marvellous, and very relaxing, "ambient environment" of lavender-colored light, and mirrored archways reflecting into infinity.
The French are easy to "read" when you don't understand and better yet, they're really thin. Not just "not fat" but really svelte, so that there's plenty of room on the plane. Meals are hot and cold in all the right places, and the wine is flowing. I tried to save the little foil-wrapped chunk of Camembert for later, but it melted in my pocket.
