1956 West Point Visit

One of the delights of visiting Washington DC has been the opportunity to connect with my cousin Margaret Garigan. She showed me this photo from my Uncle Tom's days at West Point. Both my paternal grandparents died before I was born, and I don't have much of a sense of who they were. Perhaps for that reason, I find this an incredibly sweet picture. My dad is the young man on the right. Next to him, my darling Aunt Pat holds a tiny Cousin Mike.
