In Memoriam

For all those who perished in London today,

and for all those who die violently at the hands of their misguided fellows.

Jizo Bodhisattva is the Buddhist saint whose cheerful benevolence and unflagging determination protect all those beings who die in fear and bewilderment. S/He guides all who stumble and wander through the treacherous transitions of life and death.

(The Jizos For Peace Project has collected over 370,000 images of Jizo Bodhisattva, which will be taken to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the atomic bombing of those cities. These images, mostly stamped or drawn on cloth, exceed by over 100,000 the initial goal of one image for every person who perished. Learn more at www.jizosforpeace.org)
